Solar Eclipse

Today was the first day of early morning seminary for the children. I am sad that I am not teaching this year. I really enjoyed teaching because of what I got a chance to learn from preparing. Poor Becca had to call me to come pick up. I got busy doing stuff here at home and forgot to go get them on time.

At work, the students got to go outside with special glasses to view the solar eclipse. I ran out and got a quick view of it. My job was to stay inside with students whose parents didn't give permission to view the eclipse. We watched live streamed in the cool of the building. I gave out stars to students who were doing what they should be doing. I love encouraging students to make good choices. I am still learning how to get their attention when in large groups. I love my job.

Our family is very tired tonight and we are headed to bed really early. No one is complaining at saying a family prayer at 8:10 tonight. It was fun to hear them all in the kitchen getting drinks, melatonin and laughing before heading to their rooms for the night.

Okay,  I was trying to chat with an old friend about cancer stuff next thing I know I am drifting off to sleep. Ready for sleep. Grateful that the pain isn't too bad tonight.

There never seems to be enough time in the day when I am feeling good to get everything done that I want to do. Wish work was going more smoothly. There are still some rough patches to be worked out as I learn my new job. I thank God/ my loving Heavenly Father for helping be where I am at. I honestly love working with children.  I am most grateful for a loving husband and time well spent with my children.
